Hole in the Wall
A non-law school post.
Fox has a new game show called “Hole in the Wall” which is based off of a Japanese game show. I’m not sure of the name of the Japanese game show but on YouTube it is usually referred to as “Human Tetris.” The clips on YouTube are absolutely hilarious. But that is all I’ve see: clips of funny moments.
The US version, as US versions of non-US shows tend to be, isn’t great. But it is funny at times. And they don’t have the hostess in a naughty school girl outfit as the Japanese one has.
My complaints:
- Stop with the trash talking between the contestants. Rather, LAUGH at each other’s attempts. That is what the show is about.
- Minimize the introductions.
- Needs better graphics that indicate the suggested position of the player.
What I think is better than the Japanese version
- No naughty school girl outfit.
- No advertising on the wall.
So far, I’m enjoying the show but I just fast-forward to the point where the wall is coming. I’m also okay with the repetive explanations (for now) as they introduce the concept of the game to people. I hope the show lasts.
